
Newton Stewart is a picturesque parkland course which incorporates some interesting water features on the 9th and 10th holes. The course sits above the town with panoramic views to the Galloway Hills and Wigtown Bay.
Portpatrick, or Dunskey as it sometimes known, has a fantastic clifftop location above the village and has a mixture of seaside moorland and heathland holes. On a clear day from the 10th to the 13th holes it has stunning views over the Irish Sea, sometimes as far as County Down in Northern Ireland.
Stranraer is a classic James Braid layout (the last course he designed) with two testing loops of nine beginning and ending at the clubhouse with a number of holes, such as the memorable 5th hole (pictured) being played alongside Loch Ryan.
Beautiful rolling countryside with beautiful views to the Galloway Hills in the north and as far as Ireland to the west. A fantastic variety of parkland and coastal courses, one of which was the last course James Braid designed.
