The Glen in North Berwick is another really picturesque course, with a mix of links and parkland turf. It has stunning views to the small island of the Bass Rock on the Firth of Forth. On a summer evening with lengthening shadows it is a real joy to play golf here.
Longniddry has a mixture of both tree lined fairways and more open links golf, although the light sandy soil overall gives the course more of a links feel. The course has hosted British Seniors and was a final qualifying course for the Open Championship.
Kilspindie (the 35th oldest club in the world) is a fantastic little links course with holes that hug the coastline and spectacular views over Gosford bay towards Edinburgh. Its fast running fairway and really true greens offer a great test of golf. The well stocked bar offers a selection of over 70 malt whiskies.
East Lothian is Edinburgh's golfing playground and is home to some of the oldest golf clubs in the World. This stunning coastal area is the perfect destination for a links golf fan.
