Play parkland and moorland courses dotted throughout the rolling Borders countryside to the seaside in North Northumberland, with its stunning views and fast running coastal courses. Then head north to discover the treasures of East Lothian, home of some of the world’s oldest golf clubs.
There is a real variety of courses to play here from the moorland courses of the Southern Uplands to links courses along the Solway Firth. It was here where the great James Braid designed his final course. This region in the South West of Scotland is warmed by the Gulf Stream and can be truly classed as a year round golfing destination.
Sitting at the heart of Scotland this area has both moorland and parkland courses, many of which enjoy views northwards to the Grampian Mountains and the sweeping expanse of the Tay Valley, one of Scotland’s most famous rivers. One of golf's greatest players, Greg Norman, won his first professional tournament here and you can play the course where he achieved this victory.
A fantastic mix of great parkland, moorland and upland courses, all of which have the stunning Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park as a backdrop with its mountains, lochs and heather. There is a number of great James Braid designed courses in this area and it is where Paul Lawrie won the Scottish PGA Championship back in 1992,
